Digestive Problems – Constipation

Excerpts from “Essential Oils Desk Reference” – compiled by Essential Science Publishing: Chapter 30 – Personal Usage Reference; Chapter 10 – Dietary Supplements with Essential Oils.
Digestive Problems
Any of the following indicate that the digestive system is not digesting properly:
· Rumbling or gurgling sounds in the abdomen.
· Heartburn (may be a possible indication of Candida).
· Constipation and/or diarrhoea.
· Constant hunger or fatigue after eating.
· Food intolerance or food allergies.
· Intestinal parasites.
Poor bowel function is linked to enzyme deficiency, low fibre, insufficient liquid, bad diet, and stress.
Why Constipation Can Produce Problems Later in Life
The reason constipation creates diverticulosis is due to the fact that the muscles of the colon must strain to move an overly-hard stool, which puts excess pressure on the colon. Eventually weak spots in the colon walls form, resulting in the creation of abnormal pouches called diverticula.
These pouches can also be created by parasites which burrow and embed in the lining of the colon wall and lay eggs there. It is always wise to consider treating for parasites when diverticula are present.
Constipation
The principle causes of constipation are inadequate fluid intake and low fibre consumption. Constipation can eventually lead to diverticulosis and diverticulitis, conditions common among older people. Certain essential oils have demonstrated their ability to improve colon health through supporting intestinal flora, stimulating intestinal motility and peristalsis, fighting infections and eliminating parasites.

Introducing ComforTone
A high-powered herbal laxative complex of bentonite, apple pectin, and herbal extracts that may relieve constipation, enhance colon and digestive functions, and dispel parasites and toxins.
ComforTone can help eliminate parasites from the body, break up encrustations along the colon wall, and relax intestinal spasms. If you experience nausea when using ComforTone, use Digest & Cleanse Softgels, Di-Gize or peppermint (diluted if necessary); if you experience constipation, increase your water intake and avoid using ICP. Take MegaCal or Mineral Essence daily to soften stools. If you have a history of chronic constipation, do not start ICP and ComforTone at the same time. First use ComforTone until the system is open, and then follow with ICP. Drink ten glasses of water per day.
